Save More When Buying in Bulk
Packaging that looks inexpensive can become expensive once shipping is added. Before placing a larger order, compare the final cost per item, not just the listed package price.
Use this calculation:
Product price + shipping ÷ number of pieces = true cost per piece
Bulk ordering makes the most sense for packaging you use consistently, such as clear cookie bags, standard cake boxes, cake boards, or your everyday bread bags.
For specialty colors, holiday packaging, unusual sizes, or seasonal designs, smaller quantities are usually safer.
Whenever a supplier offers samples, test the packaging before committing to hundreds or thousands of pieces.
